Our office is running ACT 7.0, 9.0, & 11,0 on our lap tops (each is registered) and I want to open and save a dBase created under 7.0 on the other systems I used "Save As" option to write the dBase from 7.0 to the USB drive. Neither 9.0 or 11.0 will open the file. The error msg is "The data base (name) could not be accessed. In order to access this dbase, check your network......I have also attempted to export & import the records with no success, it does not recognized the file at all.
I have successfully moved this file from my 7.0 to my wife's 7.0.
With the old versions of ACT (6.0)...before the rewrite this was not a problem.
