Open a database

I close one database and opened another one but then when I went back to open the first one, it could not authenticate my name and password. Is there a way to open it ? Thanks, Ed

Welcome to the Sage ACT! Community. Do you use a username and password (if you have one) to originally get into the first database?


You may not have a password for the database, but you will have a usersname. See KB Article 14150 for methods to recover your username and information regarding password recovery (if needed).

ACT! may be asking you to login, but that doesn't mean there is a password.  Try leaving that field blank.


Also, by default, the username will match what you had as your name in the contact field of your My Record...
