Old KB Articles

Colleagues,

I used to hope on to the community here and follow links to KB Articles which helped me tremendously.  I never printed or downloaded the articles, because they always seemed to be available when I needed them.

Now, when I go to the links, they are no longer working.  I know this was do to the change/purchases/etc.  But, where can we access all that GREAT information that used to be available?

Thanks.

Re: Old KB Articles

Try this link

http://kb.act.com

This takes you to a page where you can search the Knowledge Base articles.

Hope this helps

Re: Old KB Articles

As Cecil says, you can use kb.act.com ...

But, because the search can be less than helpful, some extra steps:
Look at the URL in the link you want for a 5-digit number:
Eg, in: http://kb.sagesoftwareonline.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/23848 you'd get "23848"

Then you can either search for that number from the main KB page, or replace the domain "sagesoftwareonline" with "act":
http://kb.act.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/23848

Re: Old KB Articles

Guys... thanks for replying.

I'm dense.  How would I follow the links in this message posted by Greg.  JUST as an EXAMPLE... that is not my current issue.  I just want to know how to proceed from here foward.

Re: ACT is not responding after login [ New ]
Hello brendan2008,
If ACT! opened on the XP machines, but not the Windows 7 machines, this may be due to User Account Control. For instructions to disable UAC in Windows 7, please see the following Knowledgebase article:
http://kb.Sagesoftwareonline.com/cgi-bin/Sagesoftwareonline.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=2566...

Another possible, although less common reason, could be an issue with the Welcome Page (if using ACT! 2011 or 2012). More information is in this KB article:
http://kb.Sagesoftwareonline.com/cgi-bin/Sagesoftwareonline.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=2262...

Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software
