I am looking for a tool that will check an ACT DB Backup to verify record count and data integrity. We have 25+ individual act database backups that we need to check out each month. Instead of restoring each file, I would like to find a tool to speed up the process.
We run ACT 2005 - 2009.

I don't think this can be done from the backup... the file would need to be attached to the SQL instance in order to access it.
ACT! uses the SQL DBCC commands to check the databases, which I'm ppretty sure needs the database to be on-line
It would be possible to create a utility that automatically restored the backups, performed maintenance and then deleted the database if ok or sent a notice to an admin if there was an error
