O365 eMail Template Problem

It has been a while since I've done an eMail merge using ACT (instead of Word and an Excel spreadsheet).

I also have eMailConnectPro as an add-in to ACT 2016.

I can find templates that end in ADT but I'm having a problem creating new templates. If I open an ADT template, edit it, then go to save, I don't see a format to select.

What am I overlooking?

Many thanks,

I've seen that "feature" before with newer versions of Office.  Try putting quotations around the filename.  Here's a KB article that describes what to do. KB 22869. http://kb.act.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/22869/~/templates-are-saved-as-microsoft-word-documents-(....

Re: O365 eMail Template Problem

I will be checking this, but as soon as I posted the question, I went on vacation.

At the very least, it certainly makes sense.

Best Regards,

Re: O365 eMail Template Problem

Another work round is to copy and then paste back an existing report and then rename it. After that you just save.
