Nothing Happens When I Import

I am currently using Act! 2008 Version 10.0.2.191.  Ever since a few months ago, I try to import new contacts from Microsoft Excel into Act! and the import doesn't work.  I've been importing using Act! for years and have never had this problem.  Everything goes as its supposed to but once complete, the number of total contacts in the database is the same.  There is no sign of new contacts. 

 

Has anyone ever have this problem?

I encountered the same problem last night.  The cause of my problem was that I had checked the do not add new contacts in the duplicate contact dialog box.  In step 6 of 7 in the import process click on the Contact button and make sure that you the "Add" option select on the Contact records field under the"If source records do not match destination records".
