Notes formatting

Just upgraded from ACT! 6.0 to ACT! 2010.  I've noticed that now when I copy text from another source and post it into the notes section in ACT! it retains the source formatting.  Is there any way to have it behave likt ACT! 6.0, stripping all formatting (font, size) when it is pasted into notes or other fields?

Thanks!

Re: Notes formatting

Also, I prefer the notes and history to be in one tab as in ACT! 6.0, can this be done in 2010?

Re: Notes formatting

No. The ACT! 6 Notes were text only and did not allow formatting, The later versions use Rich Text Format so the source formatting is retained.

paste it into notepad 1st as that'll strip the formatting, then paste it into act?
