Are they visible within the same login session? Are they visible in other places? (if you run a report - will they be there?)
Is it possible that your note filter settings are changing back to another setting such that you cannot see them?

I am having the same problem here in ACT! 12, I can create a new note but as soon as I hit the OK button, the Notes dialog box closes but no note is saved! I've tried restarting the applicaton and the same thing happens, nor is the previous note saved. Can't work out why this is?

I also am having the same situation with Notes not saving, within ACT Pro 2011. I have run reports and they do not show up in Notes, nor in history; has anyone found a solution? Thanks.
