Notes - Shared With heading

Hello,

I'm new to Act and this is probably an easy question for most. Under the Notes section in a company account, there is a column heading of "Share With." Under that heading is my client's company name. What exactly does this mean? Why is my clients company listed there?

Thanks

Eric

Re: Notes - Shared With heading

If the company is linked in the Company field of the contact then it will associate the Note, and other things like Activities and Opportunities to that company as well

A way to avoid this is to type the name of the company into the field but not actually link it

You can also click on the left panel - Change columns - and remove the Share With column.
