Not all Outlook contatcs transferring to ACT

I just installed ACT 17 Pro and am using Outlook 2010.

Contacts transferred from Outlook to ACT just fine last week.

Today, I added contacts within Outlook from the same company by using the copy/paste then chose "add new contact".  I then went in and changed the name, email, phone, etc.  Company name and address usually were the same.

In Outlook, these new contacts appear as normal.  However, after multiple syncs, restarting computer, etc. only one of the contacts from each company show up in ACT.

Any thoughts?  THANKS!

Re: Not all Outlook contatcs transferring to ACT

What happens if you just add a new contact and type everything fresh?
Are you using the Act! Contact sync to Outlook or a third-party solution? I find the third-party solutions are far more reliable for this
Are you using Act! remote database sync?
You might also check the Duplication settings in Act! Preferences, to make sure you aren't just stopping duplicates based on the Company name

Re: Not all Outlook contatcs transferring to ACT

If I type everything fresh, it works fine.  I was trying to save time by not re-typing everything.

I am using the sync function within ACT.

Not remote, on same computer.

Duplicate company names are allowed and work fine if typed in separately.  That's what is so frustratingSmiley Happy

Thanks!
