Norton Firewall

Received an "ACT is unable to connect to the sync server" error when syncing remote database.  Running 18.1.103.0 on both machines.  Turning off the Norton firewall allowed the sync to take place.  Now trying to set up the exception with Norton to allow the sync without having to turn off.  Can anyone tell me the name of the executable file that starts the pop up sync window?

Re: Norton Firewall

Hello

You will need to run through the following article which will list the exceptions that need adding to Norton firewall.

Make sure to check through the bottom section which lists the port exceptions and to expand the section relating to the way you sync

and how you get the port number required.

It will more likely be the port number that is preventing you from syncing.
