I am running Windows 7 32-bit and installed Microsoft Office 2007 before the install of Act ver. 11 or 2009. I have also installed all the SQL Server updates from Microsoft. I have also installed the latest patch from Sage and converted my database to the latest version. My problem is that my activity reminders will not pop up. I can see all my activities listed in the activities tab, but no pop up reminders showing like they did when I used to run Act 2009 on Vista. Am I missing a setting or do I have a more serious problem?
Time and date are completely correct. Here is some more information. If I create a new scheduled activity or modify an existing one, it does pop up as an activity reminder on schedule. I am wondering if something is off on the database restore/conversion protocol when recovering the database in Windows 7.
