No Microsoft Outlook option when setting up email

I have two options for setting up ACT 2007 email: Internet and Outlook Express. How do I get Microsoft Outlook 2007 to show up  as an option?

And along the same lines, how do I choose Microsoft Word 2007 as my Word Processor?

Re: No Microsoft Outlook option when setting up email

Office 2007 support was only added in ACT! 2008

Microsoft changed all the formats and so it can't be patched in ACT! 2007

Re: No Microsoft Outlook option when setting up email

When I go to set-up my email account in ACT Email all it lists is Internet Mail. Can I get Outlook to be an option?

I am running ACT! 2007 9.0

Thanks!

What version of Outlook?

If Outlook 2007, you'll need ACT! 2008 (10.0) to work with it.

If Outlook 2000, 2002 or 2003, try this ACT! Knowledge Base article - http://tinyurl.com/247u9b

Re: No Microsoft Outlook option when setting up email

pbergunder,

Did you get this resolved?  If not,

1)  What operating system are you using and service pack level, is this fully updated with Microsoft Critical and Recommended udpates?

2) Is this 32bit or 64bit version of the operating system?

3) You mentioned Office 2003, what service pack edition, is this also updated with all Office 2003 components from Microsoft?

4) Is Outlook configured / setup on this machine, if so, what method of mail is it using, Exchange / POP3, etc.

thanks

Matthew McFadden
