I'm curious to know if there is a way to reliably and automatically clear all the user logins or detach from the SQL instance to "unlock" the .alf and .adf files of shared ACT databases so I can perform a nightly off-site back-up?
It seems hit or miss when the databases allow them to be copied to the back-up and I'm not sure if this is due to the SQL service or remote users not properly logging out of the databases.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Roy,
One last question. Do you know if Genie Backup Manager Pro will back-up the non-premium version (just the basic) version of ACT? Thanks.
