Newtorking 2 Computers

Hello,

I have 2 computers in my home office using Windows 7 and 1 license of Act! 2010.  How can I access the same database from both computers?

Thank you!

Re: Newtorking 2 Computers

There are a few different ways. The simplest way would be to share the two computers accross a network.  Assuming you have file and folder sharing it can be pretty straightforward.

How to Share an ACT! by Sage Database over a Network

If one is a laptop and you want to cary a copy of ACT database with you when you travel, you may consider setting up synchronization.

If you have the Premium or workgroups version of ACT How to Setup Network Synchronization in ACT!

Many aCT consultants set this up in their sleep, so if you don't feel like messing with it. Consider that.  The work can be done remotely.
