I don't believe that you can do that in one step, but you may be able to export to a file and then import that file into Excel. As far as the grouping, I don't see how you could do that, but I suppose anything is possible.
We use an ACT! add-on called Contact List Plus from Durkin Computing. It works great for exporting to Excel. You can choose any contact field to show in the Contact List view and then, with one click, export to Excel. It's $89. bucks but worth it.
