We are running ACT! Premium 2012 (Version 14.0.572.0, Hot Fix 2) and we seem to be having this issue where even though the record creation options are set up to be limited access to a specific sales rep, they get switched to public instead.
We have about 40 or so users using the database so if one of them doesnt recognize something in the database as theirs, they delete it outright. Therefore, if someone adds a contact where they think it is limited access but it really switched to public, all of their notes and histories are deleted and then it is a whole issue getting them back.
Any thoughts as to what is happening here?
