New Administrator

After upgrading to ACT! 2013 SP1 my database keeps changing the Administrator/User.  I takes one of my Contacts and sets them up as the Admin.  Is anyone else having this issue?

This is a failry common issue that is in my experience user related.


People see a record called administrator and take out the admin info and enter the info for a client.   Look at the field last edited by and you most likely see the culprit.


Just changed it back in the My record for the admin (log in as admin, go to lookup, my record).  have a talk with the person listed as last edited by and see if you can figure it out.


Other than that, I would suspect an error in mass editing or an error in syncing with another device or importing error.
