New ACT 2010 User: Emarketing program is not working after install...

Good Morning,

 

I'm a new ACT 2010 user and am converting from an old marketing system to ACT.  I installed swiftpage emarketing to create email campaigns; however, receive the following error message:

 

"Access to the path:  'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\speudict.txt' is denied,"   Any idea why I would have this message and how to fix it?

Hello Christina,

Welcome to the ACT! Online Commuity. This sounds like a permissions issue with regards to your installation of Office 2007. Please ensure that you have full permissions to that path and are logged into your computer as a local administrator.

Ran into another location with the error in 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\SYSTEM\MSMAPI\1033\speudict.txt' is denied.

They were on 2011 with Vista. UAC was on, and we also added full permission to the above folder. The issue seemed to go away.
