Need a way to migrate ACT 2010 email templates to ACT 2011 - from ACT word processor to Word word processor

The only way I have been given from support involves individual copy/paste actions and changing the ACT word processor back and forth from word to ACT repeatedly.  Also, inserted fields must be erased and reentered and any linked words must have their underlines removed.  This manual process will take several days for me.  YUCK>>>>

Re: Need a way to migrate ACT 2010 email templates to ACT 2011 - from ACT word processor to Word word processor

I tried this and it should work

1) set word processor to ACT word processor.

2) open ACT word processor by choosing Write, New Template within ACT

3) Minimize but do not close the ACT word processor

Withing ACT, set the Word Processor back to MS Word

Now you have both word processors open, you can go between them with ALT TAB

Open the doc template within ACT word processor with file, Open, Select All, and copy

Make a new work based templatein word by choosing Write, New TEmplate

Paste the contents into the Word template, Save

Don't do file, new in Word, Always Write, new template from ACT
