Using Act 2007 vers. 9
Trying to use the e-mail merge with a template. Want to put information in the Subject line of the e-mail. Can't seem to find any instructions to do this. I know it is something that has to be set in the template, just can't seem to negotiate the process. Also a curiosity, is it possible to create an e-mail template that includes an attachment?

The ACT! Mail Merge function does not allow for using fields in the subject line of the mail merge. There are third party addon products that will allow you to customize the subject line.
