Narrow a lookup by word search in the note file

I am new to ACT Pro 2013,  Version 15.1.108.0, I use a local database on my Windows 7 Professional computer.  My last version of ACT was version 6.  I am trying to get acquainted with all the new features, but there is something I cannot figure out how to do that I could easily do in my last version.  If I lookup a group of contacts using any criteria, how do I then look for a specific word or phrase in the notes file and then narrow my first lookup based on that word or phrase. I am sure it is easy to do, just can't figure it out. Thanks !

Re: Narrow a lookup by word search in the note file

If I am understanding the question:

Short answer:  Search on Keywords.

A bit more info:

Do your initial lookup.

Once you have the subset, from the Lookup menu, under "Advanced", select "Search on Keywords".

In the Keywords search dialog, change the "Search These Records:  Type" to Contacts, and then use the radio button to select "Current Lookup".

In the "Look In" section, deselect eveything but Notes (if that is what you want).

Enter your search phrase/word(s) and run it.

Gives you a list of all of the contacts whose notes have that phrase/word.

Yes?
