My ACT ! 2010 has been running slow and freezing up to the point where I have to reboot my Windows 7 laptop several times per day for about the last 6 months. It worked flawlessly up to that point, since first installing it in November of 2009.
I thought it may be a conflict with Windows 7. So, last week I migrated ACT! And Outlook over to a Windows XP with 2GB of RAM.
It worked, for about a day or two. Then I integrated Outlook into my ACT! Program through a wizard, so I can email from a client record, like I was doing on the Windows 7 Laptop.
It worked for a little while, but now it is freezing up on the XP System, exactly like it did on the Laptop. I have de-installed ACT! On the XP system and re-installed it, without going through the Wizard to integrate Outlook with ACT! However, I think ACT! Still recognizes the links between the two programs.
