Welcome to the Sage ACT! Community. You can do this by exporting the selected contacts to the other database:
- Do a lookup of the contacts you want to select
- Go to File > Export
- Choose ACT! Database for the type of file to export
- Browse to and select the target database
- Enter in the username and password (if you have a password) for the target database. Next
- Check only Contact records. Choose "Current lookup". Next
- Map the appropriate fields in the source database to the target database. Next
- Click the Contact button. Left side: "Replace with newest". Right side: "Add". OK. Next
- Click Finish to export
- Open the target database to verify
This will not remove the contacts from the source database - you can do that manually once you verify they have successfully exported to the target database.
