I need to move Act 2008 from one computer to another. I backed up my database, loaded the program on the new computer but when it asked me to register it didn't like the serial number I put in. It is the same serial number I put in the old computer.
What do I need to do? Will it work if I deactivate the serial number on the old computer?

If you are still having an issue registering, please send me your serial# via a Private Message (click my name on the left and then click "Send this user a private message" on the right). It may just need to be reset. Or you can call ACT! Customer Service at (877)386-8083 and they can reset as well.
