Moving ACT 22 to a new laptop

I just got a new Windows 10 laptop and will be retiring my current, very old laptop.  I would like to move my ACT database to the new laptop.  My version of ACT is Act! Pro Version, Update 4.  I would be grateful if someone could direct me to a help document that lays out the procedure (clearly).  Thank you.

Re: Moving ACT 22 to a new laptop

Here is my preferred method.

Stop SQL

Copy everything under the ACT folder with the database etc in it. (Normally in Documents - ACT) on to a memory stick.

Place in new PC / Laptop and copy to same place on the new machine.

Find the database file ending in .PAD and delete it.

Start ACT and go to File - Open / Share database - Browse for database - Change the ACT Database (*pad) to ADF from the drop down - browse to the ACT database folder and click on the .adf file.

ACT will now create a new .PAD file and open the database. (This all assumes that you have installed the same version of ACT on the new PC / Laptop first.)
