Mistakenly Disabled Synchronization

ACT 2008 Version 10

I mistakenly disabled synchronization.  It looks as though I need to install a new remote database to get things working again.  Is that true?  If so, how do I keep all the ACT activity I have done since I synced last - 2 work days ago?

Can I backup my database, install remote database and restore backup?  If not can I print off all notes from my last sync so I can reenter all my notes from my phone calls, etc.?

Re: Mistakenly Disabled Synchronization

I'd backup the remote.
Take the Zip file to the server/publisher
Restore | Restore As
Backup the Publisher
Merge the remote into the Publisher
Create a new remote

Good idea.  I'll give it a try, but I have a couple of questions.

Is my computer the remote computer?

how do I merge teh two files?
