Microsoft BCM to ACT

Greetings everyone... I am trying to convert Microsoft Business Contact Manager database back to ACT.  Going to Microsoft BCM was the worst decision ever.

I can import most everything but the most important information is the Notes but cannot get this to import.

Does anyone have any suggestions for accomplishing this?   If we can't import the notes, then its probably not worth going back to Act.

You could try contacting Don Egen @ www.egenconsulting.com.

Email I think is degen@egenconsulting.com, but not sure.  They have a a process which will get Notes out of BCM.

Re: Microsoft BCM to ACT

Another option, depending upon budget and whether you can get the notes out of BCM into a text delimited file of some type, might be to use one of the various import tools available for Act!.

There is a product called OakMerge that I beleive can do this.  Also there is another one called Import.IT that I think can do notes.

Will depend more on what BCM lets you get coming out...
