We have been using ACT pro for a while and I have just noticed that some of the ACT users history is visable to all.
I have tried to make access private - so that all and sundry cant see my emails, but when i try to select the "Private" buttom in the contact "Access level" tab it is greyed out.
I get the message "this group has non private subgroups, and can not be private access" - when i click on the "Groups/Compoanies" tab nothing has been allocated.
Any ideas please ?

Basically, the records of the database users are public always.
In Act! PRO and Premium - The only records that can be defined as private are those who are not users.
With Act! premium - you can also define contact limited access (users and teams) It is the most efficient way to order the access to the contact information
Best regards and do not forget to make a backup of the database periodically...
