I was wondering ...
I have 7000 ish records I want to put into groups of about 60.
I have a user defined field "Batch Mailing" which holds a number, this number I search on and do mail merges with.
What is the easist way to group records into 60s, I can look at the records, find the 60 th record in the dataset and highlight to the top and then just want to edit replace the Batch Mailing list number. However this does ALL the current lookup !
Is there some kind of macro anywhere where I can just do it in code ?

First, ensure that Tag Mode is selected in the Contact List view. Then, if you select the top to the 60th record and select Lookup Selected - this creates a lookup of the 60 contacts. Now, when you do Edit -> Replace Field for Batch Mailing only those of the current lookup are effected, not all contacts.
