Lookup question

I have a very simple database with only customer name addresses, date of purchase, etc.  I tried doing a lookup for all sales in a specific year.  I enter the date as %/%/2007 and it tells me my value is not correct.  I use to use */*/2007 in a previous version but still nothing.  What am I doing wrong to look up all purchases in the year 2007?

Re: Lookup question

You can't do a date range search using wildcards in the date with ACT! 2005 and later. You need to use the advanced search and create a range search there. It would look something like this <date> => 1/1/2007 and <date> =< 12/31/2007
