Lookup contacts not assigned to a Company

Hi,

My version 16.3.11.0 database is configured such that once there are at least two employees at the same company then a company is automatically created.

I'd like to do a lookup of all the contacts that are just one employee and therefore not associated with a company.

No obvious way to do this comes to me.

Any suggestions??

Thanks....Mike

Hi Mike,

You could visually identify these easily from the contact list view, as any contacts which do not have the company name underlined have not yet been linked to a company, which would have happened if the company was automatically created.

Thanks.  Obviously I was making it more complex than needed.

Re: Lookup contacts not assigned to a Company

I actually have the same question and am curious if any of the more recent versions of Act allow you to create a lookup based on any contacts not currently assigned to companies?  I realize you can see which ones are not currently assigned based on whether or not the Company name is hyperlinked, but my database is fairly large so I want to easily eliminate those contacts that are already assigned to a company so I can focus on those that are not.

I'm currently running version 21.1 update 2 in case there is a solve on that version.
