Re: Lookup Preferences

Less is More. You could assign a keyboard sequence to pop the Lookup Surname

Re: Lookup Preferences

The same as you are about to try... :-)

1. Go to Tools Menu and Choose; Tools | Customise | Menus and Toolbars...

2. Choose Keyboard tab and scroll in the Categories window to '&Lookup' and highlight

3. Within the Commands window, to the right, scroll and highlight 'Su&name' (it may be La&tName or similar in your database)

4. Assign an available keyboard combination shortcut, for instance Ctrl + F

5. Ok, Close etc Done.Test.

Re: Lookup Preferences

tThanks, I set it up, that is cool.  Now I have two good solutions.  There are some smart people on this forum.  ACT is obviously doing some things right.  Thank you!Smiley Wink

Re: Lookup Preferences

Turns out the hot key for Lookup Last Name that I used in ACT 6 is still built into ACT 11.   The hot key is to hold down the Alt key and hit L L

I don't know if there are other hot keys built in but this is the one I remember.
