Local computer moved to new domain at server and now database won't open

Perhaps someone can advise me.  I have been using ACT 2008 on my company laptop and this last weekend my company moved to a new server and domain which caused several problems not the least of which is I can no longer access my database files.  When I attempt to open a database either on my local laptop or on the server it now asks for my user name and password but I have not set one up on any of the databases.  I can't get past this screen to open either of the two databases I have been using.  I assume this is caused by the server change and therefore the database believes it is being opened on a new computer.  Does anyone have a remedy?

Have you talked with the people who moved the database:

1. What did they do with the ACT! files - just move|copy or backup/restore?

2. did they reinstall the ACT program?

3. If they did reinstall ACT!, and tested it, then did they add themselves as users to test if it worked?

4. Are you the only user?
