Re: List of available e-mail systems is empty in the E-mail Setup Wizard

Exactly as ch1p has mentioned above - unfortunately there are some known issues with the latest build of Office (16.0.8201.xxxx), including crashing when sending emails and the blank email system list.

We're currently tracking and investigating the issue, but in the meantime we recommend reverting your Office version to a known working version (16.0.4229.xxxx)

If you follow through the KB that ch1p provided above, it'll take you to another article (here) where you'll find some advice and information on performing the rollback.

Thanks for your patience while we work to get this issue resolved!

Re: List of available e-mail systems is empty in the E-mail Setup Wizard

Hello,

I am having a problem synchronizing ACT w/ Outlook and attaching/quick attaching emails.  Everything was working just fine and now I have these problems.  I tried to re-initiate the e-mail setup, there are no e-mail systems that I can choose to use with ACT (Outlook does not appear in the box...or anything else for that matter).  Please HELP.  THANKS!

I am using Act! Pro Version 18.2.53.0, Update 7,  MS Outlook for Office 365 MSO (16.0.12026.20312) 64-bit, Windows 10 Pro ver 1803 (build 17134.1069).

Hi CrawClaw,

the integration will only work with 32bit version of office when using v18, you will have to check to see if you have the 32bit installer whne logging into O365, it's normally in the drop down part where it shows the 64bit. Download the installer, uninstall office - reboot the machine and install the 32bit version. If it's still not listed then try and uninstall act! and then re-install

Thank you Chris. I wonder what kind of functionality I will give up by going to O365 32 bit versus 64 bit. Do you know?

as far as I know there should be no difference in the programme as I think it's just really about how much memory the application can use when processing large files
