I am using ACT 2008 (10.0) on Windows XP (SP3) on a laptop with 2GB RAM. I have 22500 contacts and 4584 companies all linked using Egen Consulting's CompanyWizard.
I have created an number of fields for the contact and the company to facilitate searching - i.e. industry (drop-down list), segment (drop-down list) and niche (text). I configured these fields to link between contact and company, but for some reason they do not link or update in either direction. I have verified that all the data types are the same and the field lengths are the same. The field names do differ in most cases but they use the same drop down list (i.e. "contact industry" and "company industry" are linked and use the same drop-down list called "industry"). In my unsuccessful troubleshooting I matched the field names and it still didn't work.
By the by, I'm also using Contact List Plus, Task List Plus, and Calendar View Plus add-ons from Durkin.
Any suggestions on how I might solve this problem?
