Limiting User Access w/ACT 2006

I am an experienced ACT user who has never had to worry about keeping info from some people and not others in a company. I'm faced with that now! I have ACT 2006 and we want each salesperson to have access to only certain contacts - while Administrators can have access to all contacts. Does anyone know the best way to do this? I am an Administrator and when I make a test contact )w/someone else as the Record Manager) private, even I can't see it!

I have experienced the same issue with Act 2006, both with personal contacts and restricting the viewing of contacts to other users.  Could someone please advise how to correct this?

Thanks...but...Is that available on ACT 2006? I don't see the "limit access" button. Thanks - D
