Hello,
I have Act 2009 and was wondering if there was a way to limit the number of emails that get sent to my Outlook per hour, because when I blast using Mail Merge, it sends hundreds of them through and it backs up my outgoing server. I was hoping there is some sort of timer to limit the amound sent out to Outlook to a certain number per hour.
If you need any more information, please let me know.
Thanks!!

This is not possible with the built in ACT mail merge feature. Northwoods Mail Merge (here) has this feature. Also Swiftpage email would allow you to by pass this issue as you would be using their servers.
Sending a lot of emails out through your isp will not only get you blocked by your isp, but will also flag you as a spammer and get your regular and legitimate email blocked. be careful
