Licencing requirement for software developers - VB.NET

hi

I have a client who wants us to import a act database into excell (cvs format).

Before I proceed  I wanted to know if I need a licenced version with me also or will the clients licence do.

Is there a db schema diagram available, What do i need to import the Act DB, I have VB.NET skillsets, is there any samples on how to use .NET to connect to the db.

Warm Regards

If you are doing the work on the client system, you can use their license. If you want it on your system, you'll need your own license.

You can read from the ACT! database in two ways:

If you need to write to the ACT! database, you need to use the SDK - http://www.act.com/partners/addonpartners/sdk/

Actually, you might just go ahead and use this add-on: http://www.jltechnical.com/ACT7Export.htm

ACT! 4.0 ???

Do you want to just read the data once?

Do you just want the contacts, or do you need the notes, histories, etc?
