Keyword Search feature

We are using ACT 2010 and I can't figure out how to use the keyword search feature under the Lookup menu.  I click on Keyword Search from the dropdown and I get no response from the system.  I would think I would get a submission box, but I get nothing.

Has anyone else had this problem?  If we could fix this is would be a valuable tool for us.

I'm on 2012 and one of the new features is an improved search command.  I had no problem bringing up the keyword search, but then in 2012 is is part of the sub-menu when selecting advanced.

Can you provide some further information about your situation:

- Is this a shared database?  If yes, are other users experiencing the same issue?

- Have you tried this in the Demo database (or create a new test database)?  Same results or not?

- What is the operating system of your computer?

- Are there any error messages in the Windows Event Viewer (right click on 'My Computer' > select Manage > expand 'Event Viewer' (under System Tools) > look in Application and System)?
