Keyboard functions when scheduling new activities

Hi,

I have recently up graded from version 09 to 11 and one of nice features I liked to use in previous version was the ability to increment (or decrement) time (hours & minutes) and days (or months) when scheduling new activities using keyboard keys like "+/-" , SHIFT "+/-".

Is it still possible in this version ?

Oh, by the way. Everything is working just fine. Just "fine tuning".

Re: Keyboard functions when scheduling new activities

You might post a request for this feature to be considered to be re-added in a future version here:

Input from this web page goes directly into a database that management has direct access to read, and which they also track and gather statistics on.

Re: Keyboard functions when scheduling new activities

I didn't know about that shortcut.

+/- and shift +/- all work in the date field, but not the time fields (assuming you mean in the Start Time field?)

Re: Keyboard functions when scheduling new activities

Hello Mike,

Fortunately I still have my second (and previous) ACT license installed in my laptop. I have just tested and I am able to confirm that it really works.

In version 9.0.1.162 hotfix 3 (at least)...

  • Using +/- you can increment or decrement data (day) or time (hour).
  • Using CTRL (or SHIFT) with +/- you can increment or decrement data (month) or time (minutes).

When scheduling I use keyboard a lot jumping from one field to another to avoid need to (point) cursor to fields.

There is other some nice features in previous version that I believe Sage should keep in new versions like ability to move an alarm (from warning window) to another day (maybe in next month). To do that in version 11.0.0.367 (which is also very good) I need to reschedule. That works fine but to drag and drop to another day is even faster.

Why do not keep (or add) this in a new patch ?

Thanks for your attention.
