Issues with Act! 2010 and Windows 7

[ Edited ]
I have installed Act! 2010 on Windows 7 and am having problems!  I cannot write reports of any kind.  Also Act!  is closing down for no reason.  I also cannot use my auto dial capability!  I have re-installed the software twice with minor improvements from the original install.  It now sees my modem but still does not autodial or allow me to do reports.  Am I doing something wrong?
