Issue concerning Act by Sage and Norton 360

Recently I installed Norton 360 onto my computer, and now I am able to access my Act by sage program; but I am unable to open my database. Currently, I am using the 2007, version 9 of Act. Whenever I try to open up Act, a message comes up saying: check network connection & verify that the database server is available.

Sounds like Norton 360 is now blocking your SQL Server (ACT7) service instance.  You will need to configure Norton to allow this service else you will be unable to connect to your database.
