On a similar track ... Is there an efficient way to convert an Excel 2007 file (like a customer agreement or contract) into an ACT! template? I have successfully converted Word 2007 (.DOCX) into .ADT in the past, but something isn't working right when I try the same methods for converting an Excel file. Would appreciate any help!

Welcome to the ACT! Online Community. You really can't create an Excel merge template for ACT! the way you can with Word. The best you can do is create an Excel document with ACT! merge fields that you can attach to a contact's Documents tab, that when you run this document from the contact' s record using Map to Excel, will populate it with that contact's data. This can only be done one contact at a time. Information on this process can be found in Knowledgebase Article 14428.
Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
