Is it Possible to Edit Last EMail Date?

When a mail merge was recently sent, no history recorded in ACT.

 

I checked the user's preferences:

 

E-Mail Setup Wizard

  • 5 of 8:  Subject and message (Recommended)
  • 6 of 8:  Subject and message and "From contact only"
  • 7 of 8:  Alarm - Both, Accept meeting invite-Automatically create activity in default database
  • 8 of 8:  Finish

To update the ACT history we recreated the history by creating a history with the Type = E-Mail and Result = Completed

 

The history was created, but under the "Result" column it says "Sent".  Older histories for other E-mails showed "E-mail Sent".  Is there a way to create and eMail sent history that also updates the Last eMail sent date?

Yes, you can create histories that will update the Latest Activities field.

In the case that you're talking about, you'd need to create the history with Type = "Other" and the Result = "Email Sent"

Yes, you can create histories that will update the Latest Activities field.

In the case that you're talking about, you'd need to create the history with Type = "Other" and the Result = "Email Sent"
