Is It Possible To Export ID/Status Field

I am helping a company that has overused ID/Status and now needs to create several drop-down categories instead of using ID/Status.

They are a staffing company.

I would like to export the ID/Status and then use that as a criteria to build other drop downs for them.

Any suggestions?

Re: Is It Possible To Export ID/Status Field

If you select the list view and make sure the ID/Status field is in it plus the fields you use to de-duplicate then you can export to Excel, do your organising, create new fields in ACT to match the changes you have made and import back using the replace option.

Re: Is It Possible To Export ID/Status Field

If I understand what you are trying to do
Lets say as an example your current ID/Status is
Territory-Salesperson-Brand
22-Rick-AA
23-Bob-bb
22-Bob-AA
But you want separate fields for Territory, Salesperson and Brand.
Create the fields, Territory, Salesperson and Brand with dropdowns
Do a lookup of ID/Status contains Territory 22 and then do an Edit/Replace on the content of Territory.
Repeat for all the variations of ID/Status and the fields you want to populate
After you have populated all the fields Territory, Salesperson and Brand, you can do an Edit/Replace on the ID/Status field and make it blank or whatever you want.
If you want to populate the dropdown lists for the new fields from the existing dropdowns for ID/Status, you could go into define fields and export the dropdown for ID/Status and the re-import the parts you want into the other dropdown lists.
