Is It Possible To Add last results date to contact details

It is my understanding that Last Results is a special field in ACT.  

 

While I like having the last results on the screen, would it be possible to display the date field of the last results to the contact's detail screen?

 

FWIW, we use the last results to display the last significant activity with the contact.

No the date can't be captured on the layout. It's no different than any other field set to create a history entry. The last results field dates back to the tome when creating a history entry required creating an activity and then clearing it, like ACTWIn2 days.

Actually the last results field is simply afield that creates a direct history entry. Dates bask to the early days of the ACT! program.

Roy, always good to hear from you.

 

Bear with me as my follow up is just to understand the ACT construction a little better.

 

Since a history entry is made when Last Results is updated (the field is marked "Generate History"), is there no way to capture that date too?  There certainly is data in a date field associated with the Last Results entry in history.  I realize that the result is "Field Changed" vs "Completed", "eMail Sent", etc.  

 

Can you shed a little more light on a "Field Changed" and how that prevents the date to be captured.
