Been a two-decade user of Act, currently on version 15. I've experienced database issues lately, such as back ups not running, odd error message, Outlook synchronization was unstable, and issues recording history events properly. This all started about six months ago, reloaded Act from scratch which fixed some things and it is better, but still some odd behaviors occasionally.
Am wondering if the latest version would make things more stable, or if the development work on V16 was really focused on features rather than improving foundational elements like Outlook synch and database robustness.
I know I can download the free trial, but with erratic issues it would be hard to detect if V16 was fixing them, or they were still lying behind the scenes ready to jump out at some point.
I would also be curious what in V16 is compelling you to upgrade at all.
Look forward to any thoughts.

The development on Act! v16 was focused on optimizing how Act! functions overall, not just features. As long as you're using supported software, the Outlook integration should work as expected. As for the quality of the database, we followed the Microsoft Guidelines for SQL 2008 R2.
