Internet Email - Act 2010 Does Not Work

I have tried internet email with 5 different accounts I have and it does not connect ?

I use Windows 7

Tried connecting to a godaddy server, an earthlink server with 5 different accounts I have

None worked

Having the same problem with ACT 2011. Did you ever resolve your problem? I'm trying to connect with Cox.

Internet Mail will work only with default incoming/outgoing ports 25/110

free email services such as Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail do not use these ports. Earthlink and some others might have specific ports too. If you have Outlook installed you may want to use that instead as you can use any email ports for those.

GoDaddy uses default incoming/outgoing ports 25/110 and the connection still DOES NOT WORK.  Everyone from Sage seems to be pointing out the same configuration requirements, but I don't think they are hearing the users that are having issues.  GoDaddy uses the default incoming/outgoing ports 25/110.

 

Once again I will ask.  Has anyone successfully gotten ACT2011 to work with GoDaddy email host?
