The basic problem is this:
Sync contacts and calendar with Google, everything works fine except activities in ACT now have alarms set.
I found some old posts about this topic but with no resolution suggested. Has any body else seen this issue or have a resolution to suggest? It's happening to a user in ACT! 2012 Pro, Win 7.

Do you have your appointments on your Google Calendar set to give you an alarm as well?

We did go through all those settings and disabled notifications from within that gmail account. The gmail calendar is being sent to an iPhone or other device as well, perhaps there are settings on the actual device that could be causing this. We'll check there too.
